Hardly. There is no any reasonable candidate that could really change things to the best. If Putin will go away, there will be another same NWO puppet, like Medvedev or whatever. People don't see any reason to change one known evil to the unlnown one.

From pure atheists (USSR was atheistic state) who just like some Orthodox Cristianity holidays and gladly swim in ice-holes at Epiphany and celebrate Resurrection (Easter), to the stupid cultists who obsessed with idolising of saints and repeating rituals. Including ones who just like the theosophcal idea of Orthodox Cristianity but not really strict followers of every bit of that religion.
Orthodox Cristianity have deep roots in Russian culture, so, even being a complete atheist or even muslim you still influenced by that religion through culture.
