My church is incredibly diverse; it has blacks, asians, Indians, hispanics, and is only about 75% white. I'm there every Sunday.

Until Jerome translated the bible in the 400s into Latin, and nevermind widespread illiteracy, most Christians in the early days never had access to a Bible. John didn't even write the book of Revelation until he was an old old man, the last surviving apostle until something close to 100AD. Sacred tradition is also a thing we should respect.

I recommend watching some of Ray Comfort's videos on Catholicism (where he preaches the gospel to Catholics) and tell me if what he says is true. I used to not like Ray but once I really started listening to him, I think his gospel is very solid.
