I guess rentals could work AS LONG AS the government doesnt decided to just tell your renters they never have to pay again and you cannot evict them. Because that happened.
I think it's funny how your only way to beat inflation in America is to charge people money just for existing in a place you happen to own.
Houses don't just exist and aren't just upkept on their own.
Before you say anything, I'm not a landlord but this whole "charging people to exist" nonsense I've been seeing lately reeks of entitlement.
Now it sucks that the system is so far gone that it's more and more difficult to become an owner, but that's a different discussion. If people weren't putting in labor and capital to make these properties they wouldn't be there for people to "exist in"
