You know, if you told your parents or your best friend that you planned on marrying someone and they told you that they forbid it, you might say something like, "Thanks for your input and I'll think about what you said, but I'm an adult and can make my own decisions and take responsibility for this." You might even say something less polite.

So who exactly asked any government anywhere to regulate this for us? And why? And if you think you need to be controlled, do you think everyone else can't control themselves just like you?
