You can try to do some mental gymnastics and blame the guy who threw the first punch but that's a leftist worldview. In reality, good people know a punch never would have occured if the thief didn't try stealing the TV. Therefore the thief started it.

Sure but just because Russia invaded Ukraine doesn't mean Russia started it.
