When it become completely obvious that there are no any Russia's treat at all. EU will pay EUR and get its gas according to the contracts. As it do it all way long. Where is that treat?

And I even don't tell that it is the inalienable right of the seller to choose the means of exchange he want to get for his goods. You can't force seller to sell you something you need for the currency he don't want to accept. So, even in all that never happened "gas for roubles" was no any treat at all for EU.

If all that wet and sad tales about high prices and shortages are not whining, than what is that? EU is strong, powerful and reach union of advanced and civilized countries. Why do they so depend on the barbarian Russia resources and instead of brave reporting about newly developed technologies and workarounds that will make the life in EU better that ever, they literally whine about shortages? Not even talking that it is EU cut itself from that resources, not Russian government who will willingly sell absolutely anything for a decent amount of EUR/USD, even things that absolutely necessary for Russians, because Russian gevernment are the same greedy and dumb bastards as everywhere else.

Why EU government care about that completely fake punishmet of Putin much more than about their own citizens?
