I think its just a desire by completely demoralized folks that want to see the entire thing burn at this point.

I admit I'm one of those people and its clouded my thinking. Fucking sucks.

I have to agree with you.

Things are so effd up that only a total reset of things will be necessary to clean out the disease that is currently killing the world right now.

Plus just about everyone in the generations after Gen X needs to experience some serious hardship to get their heads straight.
