Teachers unions were the first to go woke. The continuing education requirements caused them to fall long ago.

Teachers have a very high rate of high degrees, but most of them are in education. I had a physics teacher that had her doctorate in physics, and it was so rare all the other teachers were proud of her and pointed it out.

Most teachers take the easy route, and take education classes because they can use what they learn in memo's and meetings.
