I am open about my belief that a legitimate way to participate in the political process is to attend protests. That does not make me responsible for what happens at these events. In Trump's case, it could undermine the political movement in which his supporters are participating
Asking for campaign contributions is not a form of begging. If that were true, Bernie Sanders would be guilty of begging the working class for money. The money should be spent to further the political cause to which the donators are sending their money and not redirected to assist incarcerated people.
