I have similar bias as yours. The worst part is, decupling russia from the west is very good for china. Not only pushes it russia closer to an alliance with china, but it also helps china buy cheaper ressources from russia.
Heck, i could even imagine somewhere in the back china influences western to push harder against russia so that they in the front can stand to russia.
