What is a neo-Nazi in the context of Ukraine?

The German Nazi fought against Ukraine because it was part of the soviet union.
Na- means Nationalist, as in pro-Ukraine government
-Zi means Socialist, as in pro-Russia's form of government
Jews. Jews?

I just don't have a working definition that makes any sense. Does neo-nazi just mean aggressive people with tattoos?

So honestly just Ukrainian vigilante patriots who activated when Russia crossed the border.

I wondered why Russia would hop one particular southern border to stabilize an Abrahamic scuffle (neoNazi), but won't cross another southern border to stabilize a different Abrahamic scuffle (Uighurs).
