somewhat, yes. But, he doesn't realize or won't admit openly that both left and right are partly controlled by "the poor, poor pitiful jews" - not all Jews, of course, but the ones who think its their destiny to rule the world to fulfill holy prophecy. If he's known what was going to happen in Ukraine today, he may've never mad made the film. Basicly, Stone shot himself in the foot and I bet he wishes he could walk it back. The irony of it is beautiful. He was correct that it was Americans taking advantage of Ukrainians, but these days it is the Democrats as much as it is the Republicans. Had he known that and that the current Ukrainian president would be a Jew, maybe he'd never had made the film. According to Wikipedia, his dad was a nonpracticing Jew and Stone himself didn't care for religion. But, was the film trying to rouse sympathy for Jews - yeah, at least in the beginning of the film. They were never mentioned after telling about the 30,000 killed in 1929, though.
