Authoritarian governments sometimes allow minority ethnic groups to have undue power over the majority. Democracies defend the rights of minorities. The point I am trying to make with those facts is that cheating to win is actually a loss as the people put into office that way are no longer accountable to anyone, majority or minority. As if they will work to the benefit of the useful idiots after there's no way they can be removed from office by them.
