Or maybe the kind of people who line up for the jab are also hypochondriacs who live fear-driven lives and line up for a "COVID test" whenever their nose is a little runny... and those tests are about as reliable as using a stick to find sources of water.

this is the bias that explains why "flu" shots are reported to "work" when the "flu" is fake and gay.

those who are more likely to get a "flu" shot are the hypochondriacs who obsess about their health already and therefore are likely to be slightly healthier, therefore artificially propping up the "flu shot" success rate. it's all a scam.

I don't think any one characterization of people who got vaxed is accurate. I know one coworker who absolutely is a hypochondriac. But, I know others who seem to wear their vax status like a badge of honor. And still others who wear it like a badge of loyalty. My wife's manager got vaxed purely as a matter of convenience because he had a trip planned to Tahiti and he couldn't travel internationally without it. I know someone else who got vaxed when his brother with comorbitities caught covid and died, so he was scared into it.
