Yes, I work in atmospheric science, lol. I would pause there and say we have a very limited amount of climatological data (100 years or so) versus 10,000 years if you are a Creationist and millions of years if you are an Evolutionist. That’s only 1% of data (or much less if you think the earth is millions of years old) to draw any sort of cyclical conclusion from which, as we know, is not much and causes lots of “jumping to conclusions”. I’d be cautious of buying in to massive warming OR cooling in the immediate future.
