This will certainly work, but the tactic of simply boycotting the business is just as good.
What all these restaurant owners should understand is that they once they introduce the vaccination card requirements, they are essentially dead. They might keep pretending that they are alive, but this is an illusion. They will have to close, but by that time they will be in debt and probably vaccine-injured, so it's better to side with the people now.
If they go along with this they will give out of business. Which is one of the benefits of the vaccine passport.
