The data is in fact "verified" before it is published. Entries are frequently and arbitrarily removed to scrub the deaths. The deaths and side effects in VAERS are underreported by an estimated factor of 40, and there's an enormous backlog.
20,000+ verified reports say otherwise. And that’s estimated to be 0.01% of the real total.
