I figured it out. Currently, Pfizer is immune from liability because it is an emergency use authorization medical countermeasure due to the PREP act. Once the approved product hypothetically makes it market, it would have to be moved to the VICP, which has a lower burden of proof for liability. It would also force them to legally recognize that it is not actually a vaccine or try to change the definition.
My prediction is it never will make it to market. They will pull it and make a version for a new SARS COVID variant that will go back to EUA.
