Rigged, yes. But not rigged enough to be resilient against a third party receiving a vast majority share of ballots. The US is a democracy. Unfortunately, the blue/red alliance has run unopposed for about a century.
I have a secondary thought to add here in an edit showing the similarity of BLM occupying the streets to leave no room for valid protests and Bernie Sanders occupying the independents to leave no room for valid third parties. The moral of the story is not to trust the Icon to do what needs done, in the hopes to inspire a reader to throw their hat in the ring and be the change they wish to see.

Thinking you can fix this mess with a third party vote is quite underwhelming.
