What if they starve you to death instead? As in plausible deniability.
They do not need to jab everyone as long as they can scare monger, starve and face muzzle anyone to death and randomly detain them (and the crimes can be blamed on governors being disorganized). And no the American or Worldwide population will grovel and beg for mercy.
They can try but they’ll fail. Their unholy alliance depends on bead and circus. Take away the bread and natural instinct, which is repulsed by their deeds, takes over.
Tell that to the Red Cambodians, Kulaks under Bolshevik rule or Libyans after the Arab Spring.
When shit hits the fan and the bread and circuses are taken away to reveal absolute death, they just sit still and beg for mercy even as the aforementioned Kulaks and Libyans are armed.
