No. This has nothing to do with democracy... Which is just rape by the majority.
This is they do what they want because no one is willing to stop them.
I'm a realist.
Once in a while, you need a Ceasar with enough power to actually root out corruption. Democracy is not strong enough to do it on its own, or else it would have never taken hold.
