Your right. I was recently made aware that the bible says "hate what is evil." When saying I shouldn't hate.

Its so ingrained that hate and discrimination is wrong. Its been heavily adopted by the christian culture.

But pedophiles should be hated, and discrimination in moderation is common sense.

God wanted to wipe out certain people for a reason.
