Bible was written by men..., is it really His words? God gave us free will, but opens up with the Thou Shalt Nots?? Nah man the Authoritarianism was written by those who needed authority over the masses..
We have free will. God has given us rules to follow to honor Him and to succeed in nation-building. We do have a choice to follow the rules or not.
