This is incorrect. If one loses 5% of something every week you never go to zero.
Starting at 100% we would have 95% then 90.25% then 85.74% then 81.5% then 77.38% etc...
After 26 weeks (1/2 a year) one would still have 28% of their immune system.
After a year, one would still have 7.5% of their immune system.
A slight change from 5% loss to 2.5% loss would be 53% immune system after 6 months and still nearly 30% after a year.
We can do the math and figure out the rate. From 750 to 250 in 26 weeks. So (250÷750)^(1÷26)=~4.2% weekly decline.
Even so the question is what is the critical immune level past which every day illnesses become critical?
