The problem with getting caught up in the argument and taking the position that the vaccine is not effective at preventing covid is that this positioin still operates under the assumption that there is a virus we need to protect ourselves from in the first place. There isn't. There is a lot of evidence to suggest that virus particles are a symptom of dis-ease, not the cause. Proponents of this position are not arguing that dis-ease does not exist nor that it is not contagious, rather that virus's are not the medium by which contagion occurs.
From my viewpoint the provax vs antivax debate is a standard divide and conquer strategy because both sides of the debate are operating under a premise that covers up a bigger lie. Much like the way mainstream politics gets caught up in the left vs right debate which hides the fact that both parties sold out a long time ago and neither one gives even the tiniest shit about the people the claim to represent.
The "antivax" label is a way to create a hated group of people. Then you can more easily legally mandate vaccines because the haters will want to piss in the hated group's corn flakes.
