I was a little late to the party, but listening to Joe Rogan debate the moon landing with a professional moon landing apologist was what woke me up. Now I'm a militant moon landing skeptic. I implore you to watch this if you haven't seen it already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDLFm-DRPQg&list=PLA3ED2E5D5A8D72CD

Like the guy in OP's post implies, the absolute stupidest cope I see these days is "buh buh da soviets woulda called us out!" They tried, dumbass. The USSR was notorious for saying anything to its citizens to make the government look good. Why would the space race be the ONE thing commies grew a conscience about and told the "truth"? Even if we did land on the moon, the soviets would never admit it and there was no incentive to. You just weren't privy to what the USSR government was saying 50 years ago because you live in the American propagandasphere and most shitty Soviet propaganda was lost to time after the Soviet Union's collapse. Fortunately, there are now calls to re-investigate the moon landing coming from, you guessed it, Russia: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2015/06/17/russian-official-wants-to-investigate-whether-u-s-moon-landings-actually-happened/

Because:

  1. no is claiming we can't put things on the moon and leave them there like the retroreflectors Russia left on the moon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_retroreflectors_on_the_Moon
  2. moon rocks are trivial to find on Earth: https://roundupreads.jsc.nasa.gov/pages.ashx/1255/Scientists%20Confirm%20New%20Discovery%20of%20Moon%20Rocks%20on%20Earth
  3. astronauts are capable of lying
  4. Hollywood exists

...the only meaningful proof would be the telemetry data... which mysteriously vanished decades ago. Ngl, it's super-fun redpilling people on this particular subject. It's so easy to convince people if they just listen to me for 45 minutes.
