The concentration of it in toothpaste is astronomically higher than in water, which is why you should not swallow toothpaste. With that being said it should definitely not be in water.
I think it used to say something like if you swallow more than a pea sized amount of tooth paste call poison control. There is about the same amount of fluoride in 1 liter of water.
Afaik the problem with swallowing quantities of toothpaste is more an issue of intestinal blockage
Exactly. That’s how they psyche us out. But not many think about it in terms of micro amounts + lifelong exposure
