So I looked it up to see if I could find the original article. Internet Archive had the site but the first archival date for this site was in 2006 or therabouts so this is too early to see. I looked up the headline and saw other sites and videos so its definitey something that's been floating around for awhile.
Sinopes made up a false claim (that it was the AP that published this) and "debunked" the claim by pointing out that the Sunday Standard was a Kenyan paper that misspelled Obama's first name. Nowhere did they address the Kenyan newspaper's actual claim that Obama was Kenyan.
