What makes you think it came from a cave? It looks more like a fabric of some sort

I should have saved the captions and book title too...

It does look pretty fabric-ey. "cave drawing" is just what my memory recalls. Definitely located in Australia somewhere.

It's from a book this guy went on an expedition in Australia way back when and found these drawings in a cave.
