I live in Victoria and considered getting this fund. There are options to pay the government out early. There are yearly requirements to meet though such as house upkeep and you can't renovate without permission. It sounds good but it's the Victorian government. My wife and I got excited because it's so hard to get a first home here, but I do not trust the government with their ties to China.
