Australia has nukes. It is even currently building its own, away from 5 eyes, nukes. National Aussie nukes, weren't they just elected? Also doesn't it have a space port? Irregardless, America has how many bases in Australia? Between 15-25 of different sizes.

More is due to the abhorrent way supply lines and corps have distributed, and are heavily reliant on China. China has been producing ridiculous amounts of the World's production and manufacture. Thanks to corps exploiting a cheap manufacturing workforce and a larger population. Reliant on increasing services. China in turn provided investment, and a reliance on certain products and brands, and raw materials, and agriculture.
Much of this is changing recently as supply lines redistribute. More remains to escalate. America is just as much a Chinese bitch as so many other nations. America is so heavily reliant on China it censors its own population before offending a means of profit. It has been doing this for as long as it has had the globehomo.
