The concept was nuclear war/war. Reseting the planet from a bunker. Perhaps even disabling most communications and energy. Shortly everything is on that grid with renewables and electric cars. Power goes out for an extended period. You'll need a bunker.
UV lighting fools plants, they can grow under light bulbs. The same with skin, getting its needs from UV lighting. Infact our skin isn't suited to direct sunlight, many faster get cancer today. Many have skin conditions where the sun is harmful. Many burn much quicker in the sun like redheads and gingers. If our temperature on this planet continues warming at the rate it is, direct sunlight will be very bad for much of the planet. Unsurviveable. Food won't grow, animals die, and the heat will be too much for more than a few minutes.
You didn't understand the concept, that in the event of nuclear war, it could reset the planet. There would be survivors, having bunkered. I put forward the same survival if a meteor hit. Or a number of increasing scenarios.
