It was announced months ago. But they take a while to hatch the attacks. The delay almost makes conspiracy theorists look nuts, but only because they are way ahead of the news curve.
First it was Microsoft VoIP.

Now it's Bandwidth VoIP, millions of customers and businesses affected. Fourth day no phone service. Good thing there's cell phones and email.

It almost seems like sanctioned business terrorism.
Maybe the world is going to war and they're stress testing the infrastructures to harden them.
