The first vid mentions where to go at the "crossroads"; then suggests to seek within the lost past and the uncertainty of future. Instead of falling for that suggest rabbit-hole; why not reconsider the implication of "crossroads"? What does a road represent? From/to aka beginning towards end; which implies movement. What then does "at the crossroads" imply? Having choice within movement.
Crossroads represents allegory for free will of choice, and choice is defined as a reaction to balance within motion. We don't have to consent to the suggested choices at the crossroad...we each represent the "cross" of choice within the balance of the "road".
The end of the vid suggests that "this story cannot be told linear"...now back to the crossroad...the road (flow) represent the linear narrative for the cross (choice of form) within; while the cross represents evaluation of direction by choice within predefined direction.
