Considering how the wealthy have no problem making all cities of the world completely shitty at this point, do you guys think it’s possible that a breakaway civilization could already exist on some secret large island on earth that only the elites know about?

What I’m trying to figure out is, since they also have to live here, doesn’t it suck for them to make all the(formerly) nice cities and places shitty, vs. trying to improve them so they can have enjoyable ways to spend their money? Even wealthy people are affected in what they can enjoy with all this Covid bullshit. Unless they have their own secret place…
