So I follow the Seahawks and for the past few years there's been a guy that we always sign, release, sign again etc (Luke Willson, TE). Prior to this string of signings and resignings he was actually drafted by us and was a part of the Super Bowl team and has become a fan favorite.
Yesterday we signed him for the 4th time, and today he retired. The consensus on the Seahawks sub is that "he must be an anti-vaxxer". In his retirement message posted on instagram he mentioned that he has had some health issues this past off season. The health issue? Pericardial effusions. I think it's exceedingly likely that he got that as a result of the vax, and either the team was pressuring him to get his 2nd shot, or he's already had 2 and they fucked him up too much for NFL play.
As usual, redditors are unable to see what's right in front of them.
It's just crazy to me how people can just have reality smack them in the face and be like "nope, that didn't just happen, the tv will tell me what to think about this".
I don't watch much cable tv (just movies, really) but i recently tuned in to one of those morning shows and it was wall to wall covid fear porn before i turned it off after 10 minutes. I can def understand how people who watch "news" on tv are programmed. They just ram whatever the new agenda is down their throats day-in-day-out. It's very sad to see my parents brainwashed by whatever the new thing is.
