This is not only US. Russian Yandex maps also intentionally blurs Israel territory. Since Yandex is Netherlands company working in Russia under jurisdiction of Russian Federation, they don't have any reason to obey US laws.

However, seems that they directly obey to Israel authorities and carry out orders of Israel military and security angencies.
