While they should be hanged, the both of them, constitutionally they were voted for by the electoral college, thus, they are in office legitimately through illegal and illegitimate means of election fraud. You have to remove them first through impeachment, then you can try them for treason, and then give them the death penalty.

But if you remove the both of them, the president pro-tem of the senate becomes the new president under the 25th Amendement. Thus, we'd have Pat Leahy as president. I doubt he'd authorize the DOJ to prosecute the two of them, and further, he'd pardon them like Ford did Nixon.
