Solution -- Let's create DIGITAL, SECURE vaccine cards (passports) that can't be faked!!

This seems likely. Will need just a couple smart asses trying to sneak that easy vacation in to get busted, and one more thing to blame the unvaxxd for. Easy peasy. The tech is already here, so they just need an excuse to make it mandatory. Inb4 crappy mandatory smartphones for everyone. Or out of the smart cities!
So, in their minds, requiring a government issued voter ID free of charge is too much of a hindrance to the lower rungs of society... but requiring a smartphone app to participate in all aspects of daily life isn't?

I mean, I'm ready to pick up and move to Florida or something, or go into the woods to avoid it, but really, I bet you could offer a $100 on the spot to the douche-bag at Walgreens who would administer the jab to say you got it and you actually didn't, and you could fake that shit that way.

Yea, true. Same as anywhere. However, structurally, it's harder to steal elections in some states than others. Florida lacks large the urban black/Dem centers, like PA has Philly and IL has Chicago, or WI has Milwaukee, where the cheating occurs.
Election fraud is a combination of lots of things, but key to it are county clerks that are willing to play ball with it.

yeah, an easy gap jump. It's on the phone but too many are lost, left at home, stolen, or parents let the kid use it. To fix this we'll just put a chip in you, easy peasy.
Someday yes, but despite those complications you mentioned I think they'll settle for the smartphone step.
If you don't bring yours somewhere, they'll either ask for your ID and use some government software to do a lookup, or they'll just refuse service. "This is (current year)...why don't you have your smartphone with you? Why don't you have a smartphone at all?" Heck, I think Google once asked me for a BACKUP phone number. So apparently we should all be running around with two smartphones.
RFID chips are easily hacked though and external power source. Smart phones is how they would do it.
That's why I knew not to even forge it. I still don't have a vaccination card. Incidentally, everywhere is short on workers and we brought in nearly 1 million mouths to feed.
