Thanks to Turtlew0rk for spotting this. I couldn't believe my eyes, when I saw this.

This guy came out with the truth, then lied that he was misinterpreted (no he wasn't) and did a total flip-flop.

What happened? My Icelandic contacts are equally dumbfounded.
