This is the plan of the evil tyrants, anyway.

It's beyond Tyranny to turn all of society into mush and turn people into feral beasts for the sake of Godhood. It takes a certain degree of evil and stupidity combined to do this. Cowardly methods from the weak to devastate the strong.
