Financial pressure is the only thing I can really empathize with. My dad took one to fly and I'm yelling at him like wtf is wrong with him?
He says "oh, the OTHER one is the bad one"
So we look it up and the airlines changed their policy because it's actually a human rights violation and they're probably liable for vax injuries at that point. He was relieved about not taking a second dose.
The conversation actually started with him complaining about "mind fog". This is why Facebook and everywhere bans real conversations. We need to have this dialogue. With our families and our communities.
In my case I’d literally be out of work and have to relocate somewhere else with no way to get back here, and being as vague as I can, I can’t do what I do in other locations. I’m working long term (within 3-5 years) to be able to pick up and go if I needed, but right now am doing what I can to allow that. I also couldn’t go stay with family or anything because none would be willing to host me without me having been vaccinated. My area very much doesn’t care if something’s legal or not when it comes to enforcement. We don’t even prosecute for shoplifting anymore, so people just steal shit.
I’m in a position that has a lot of people asking me what I think about the new vaccines, and in my case, I tell them what happened to me and most other people under 70 I know that got one.
Have you not read a single article posted here? Why the fuck did you get the "fauci ouchie"?
It would be like facing all the evidence of 911 and being like "nah, NBC told me asking questions is racism" like, wtf
Financially and socially and familially backed into a corner with it so I took my chances.
