I like the way you think.

I have a question about this:

[The virus was] meant to usher in the great reset probably

Reset what? It kills less than 1% of those who catch it.

In a dark way, there would be less of a burden on Social Security if everyone caught it.

Although, our society would have been stressed with the extra sick and dead.

Answering my own question: people would have cried out and probably ushered in a whole new leadership if the virus killed more people than it did. It could have been a "great reset" - but of leadership (at first - ramifications of new leadership afterwards).

I think it's mostly to provide an excuse for massive government overreach/authoritarianism, further sureveilance, etc.

If 2020 taught me anything, the vast majority of people are already controlled. Critical thinking is not exercised by most.

That doesn't mean more control/surveillance wouldn't be "better" in some minds, but I'm not seeing the connection to releasing a virus (although, I can understand to never waste a good crisis :-) ).

They are using this to shut down the globe and demandd access to your body with step one being the vax. Using a deadlier virus would be dangerous.

I learned that deadlier viruses kill too quickly for it to spread to many other people.

Anyway, I don't think "they" are trying to kill us because there's no reason: God already gave us end dates.

I am open, however, to this having been designed to lower birth rates. 2020 saw a 4% decline from 2019, for example, even before the "vaccine." Depopulation can be accomplished over time without purposefully killing the living.
