McAfee got a job at NASA in the Apollo program at age 23.
Then he starts the first anti-virus sw company, and becomes giant/highly lucrative.
Does the origin story seem even a little sus?
all freemasons are catapulted to fame and wealth because they are insiders. he could very well be a rare case of a self made man, but i dont know.
