Not even that simple.
I suspect something like Cambodia 1975, the Cultural Revolution, Nazi Germany or Stalin is around the corner and all over the world. It's not about a pandemic, it's not just about money and control, what we are seeing is most likely a setup for mass, wanton democide for the sake of removing a population that has proven itself to be completely uncontrollable and exalting the elite into gods ruling over (literal) artificial humans.
