Powerful people lie to get obedience

Nature doesn't offer lies; one first needs to ignore nature to consent to believe a truth; for another one being able to suggest a lie contradicting the believed truth.

Could ignorance of reality (motion) for fiction (belief) ignore ones potential (power), so that those who suggested the fiction (-isms) gain the power to act in the name of the suggested belief (idol)?

Could obedience be ignorance towards sole authority over self (free will of choice) for consent towards a belief suggested by the free will of another one?
