There is a lot of crossover between Gnostic "Christianity" and the luciferianism that took over the freemasons.

Freemasonry began as a Gnostic sec hiding from catholic persecution, which is how you can find a lot of connection between freemasons and the founding fathers, as well as a lot of centuries old history that seems to paint them in better light. It's not merely rewriting history in their own favor, there was a genuine foundation of decency among them. But the Brotherhood of the Snake / Illuminati / Remnants of Babylonian Dualism found that Gnosticism was very easy to divert into their own ideology. It was already a form of Dualism, just had to make one tiny little change.

In the Gnostic belief there is the spiritual world and the physical world, and God exists only in the spiritual. They actually believe that all the physical world was created by satan in rebellion to God and His spiritual realm, this elevates a mere Angel to a level of godhood. In Christianity this is pure blasphemy, even as the Gnostics continue to believe they are totally the good guys.

Luciferians believe pretty much the same thing as the Gnostics do, only they decided the Physical world and all it's depravities ain't so bad, so maybe this lucifer guy who created the world and "gave" us the knowledge of good and evil ain't so bad after all. That maybe the God of Abraham is really just a stingy, controlling father figure who deserves being rebelled against. And so they create this "lord of light" who actually made everything, and "saved" humanity from spiritual slavery to the big bad evil god by giving us the freewill god refused us, and claim that Jesus actually came to convince people to go back into spiritual slavery, and thus was a bad guy.

The further up the Masonic ladder you go, the further down the Gnostic pipe you go, until you get sucked into the luciferianism. Then, and only then, do you get graduated beyond the lowest ranks. And by that I mean the 33rd degree is merely the top of the lowest degree.

Each of the secret societies; Masons, Jesuits, Knights of Malta, Skull and Bones, et all, are the "lower ranks." You must graduate "beyond" the Gnostic understanding to reach the higher ranks, and only then do you learn there is One society which is above them all. But "you" don't achieve this rank easily. Your grandfather does. And then your father, and then you.
