The first actual outside reports of the camps were from the Polish, not Soviet, forces who were compiling info and giving it to western allies as early as 1942. It is NOT the only event protected by law since countries with laws against holocaust denial also have laws against denial of other genocides too. And Churchill DOES mention the death camps in his history.
