To be fair, polarity has far more meanings than “physical North and South Pole on a sphere”.
Light is polarized, electric charge is polarized, magnets (how do they work?) are polarized, politics are polarized, etc etc
I hope this makes sense. I saw my first sunset when I was 31 and I cried. The guy next to me on the boat asked what was wrong? I didn’t know at the time.
Hell, if my eyes hadn’t worked for the first 30 years and I saw my first sunset at 31 I’m sure I’d feel similar.
I think life is the process of figuring out “what was wrong”, we may not get to the answer before running out of life however.

FFS - did you people even pay attention in school? That is entirely and wholly exactly what it means. The north pole and south pole are the polarities of our Earth which is a fucking globe with magnetic poles!! Jesus H
