How does gravity drag a jumbo jet east at 30,000 feet traveling due north? Not only that but keeps it speed in exact relation to the diminishing speed as one travels north, north of the equator? What happened to the east directional momentum? Just over 1000 mph at the equator down to about 500 mph 1/2 to the northpole.
